Subject: Vote NO on H597
Representative D'Amico:
Please vote no on H597. I whole-heartedly oppose attempts to take local
control away from school administrators and teachers in regards to the
health curriculum as this legislation would do. Health education is best
handled and guided not by "one-size-fits-all state mandates" but by
teachers and school administrators who know their students and can
tailor curriculum to meet individual needs. This bill is just another
attempt by government to take local control away from parents, teachers
and administrators. Please oppose H597.
Sincerely,
Don Kinniburgh
